Photographer's Note
Fishermen of Miankaleh peninsula work at a so much male atmosphere from fall to spring every year in a crowded corporations. during the fishing seasons they live in cottages far away from their families ,although they can visit family some time; but Noroz vacation (vacation of new Iranian year that it start with spring every year) is a good opportunity for their children to live in new situation with their fathers and, for wives to use from spring weather near the Caspian sea and their men.
for children it is like to have camp near the sea with a lots of games that nature made for them, those make permanent memories for ages. i think we were one of them.

Salam Rahim,
I like very much the way you have framed the two children in an old window. The composition and exposure are first rate. Thank you for the excellent note accompanying the photo.
Warm regards and best wishes for the holiday season,
Bulent

Hi Rahim
111 visits and only one comment! TE world is completely mad!
A frame in a frame in another frame.... with the 2 boy faces looking at the photographer. I like the delicate hues of it!

salam rahim. this is like a movie scene. the gazes of the kids and the wooden texture are nicely captured. very good use of the window as a natural framing, and it makes your grey border unnecessary, imho.

Salam Rahim. In your "wave" photo of the men singing you mention Arabic and African links. Looking at these boys, I can see Tadjik or Afghan traces. Iran is a rich country culturally, that's for sure. The photo is very touching and expertly taken. Nice note too. Best wishes. Klaudio.

Salam Rahim ~
I love the colours of this one, which are soft and weathered, serving to enhance with their frames within frames, the double portrait of the boys. I agree with Deniz that you could lose the grey matting around the photograph and let it stand alone, it would be much better. It's a beautiful shot, and already perfectly framed :)
Kind regards,
Kristin
