Photographer's Note
A capital with bull engraving.
There were 3 typical forms for the capital of a colunm :
bull/eagle/lion
each one in a sitting position, not one but double( mirrored considering a vertical axis in its back),
the engravings are made in such an abstractstyle
we always took pleasure in watching them :
great details, curves, lines, parts...
I'm sorry I don't have a more detailed picture to show you, to SEE what I say...
but you can see this link :

to see & to be charmed more...

I think you have portrayed this bull from a fine angle Fariba. It shows a lot of details of the artwork but also how it is attatched to the building. I am not so sure about the color, the bull looks to have a blue or magenta cast but that is hard to say as I have never seen this rock in real. I think you could have sharpened just a little more after resizing. Well done!

THis is a very nice detail, Fariba. Very nice tones, very well captured. This place looks so interesting. Do you think I'll have a chance to visit your country, someday..?

Great details Fariba! You did a great job by framing this composition. The colors are really good, giving us lots of textures and details.

Bravo Fariba,

Besides an interesting shot of a place that's hard to get to (for me at least), the peach and purple tones really help on this one.

Nice picture. This is what I always believed Iran would look like. My ancestors / forefathers came from Iran. I always wanted to go there, but have never had the chance. Your photos help me to see it.
My cousin is named Percy and I thought he was named after the English name, but he may be named after Persepolis (who knows) :-)
Thanks for this.
