Photographer's Note
Again the photo inspired by Jorge. (I could be inspired every day.). He wrote:"a turkish bath in the shape of a mosque is something offensive anyway. for a brazilian a toilet and a bath room are almost the same thing. haha." Very wrong.
A Turkish bath or hammam is a type of steam bath or a place of public bathing associated with the Islamic world. It is a prominent feature in the culture of the Muslim world and was inherited from the model of the Roman thermae. Muslim bathhouses or hammams are historically found across the Middle East, North Africa, al-Andalus (Islamic Spain and Portugal), Central Asia, the Indian subcontinent.
In Islamic cultures the significance of the hammam was both religious and civic: it provided for the needs of ritual ablutions but also provided general hygiene and served other social functions in the community such as a gendered meeting place for men and for women.
The hammam combines the functionality and the structural elements of its predecessors in the Roman thermae with the Islamic tradition of steam bathing, ritual cleansing and respect of water. Islamic bathhouses were often constructed as annex buildings of mosques which were part of larger complexes acting as both community centres and houses of worship.
After this long description from Wikipedia the picture of the Iranian hammam in Kashan. The Turkish baths are often beautiful historical places, elaborately decorated.
Sultan Amir Ahmad Bathhouse was constructed in the 16th century.
The interior of the bathhouse is decorated with turquoise and gold tilework, plasterwork, brickwork, as well as artistic paintings. The roof of the bathhouse is made of multiple domes that contain convex glasses to provide sufficient lighting to the bathhouse while concealing it from the outside.
Two more pictures in Workshops.

Hello Malgo,
Three well taken and interesting photos. I am drawn between the more elegant architecture and decorations of this photo and the perfectly matching woman in the first WS. I would have been tempted to crop that photo just below her feet and focus entirely on the colours and human presence. But you probably made the right choice by picking this one.
Best regards,
Gert

Hello Malgo,
Kashan is a town I didn't visit when I was in Iran. There were so many beautiful places to visit ...
This is a wonderful series of three photos to demonstrate the architectural beauty of a hammam, more specifically the Sultan Amir Ahmad Bathhouse.
Splendid photo in WS 1 including the pool.
Best regards, Paul

Wspaniale wspomnienia z Iranu.
Pozdrawiam serdecznie
Kasia

Hello Malgo,
This is an excellent series of photographs, revealing the abstract patterns, which give these baths their beauty and their charm.
You must have struggled, deciding which one to use as your main photograph but, it matters not, for we have shared them all!
My warm regards,
Bev :-)

Hello Malgo,
This is a beautiful interior; I like the color scheme, and all the artistic details. I also like how we're looking from one space towards another, more interior space. The WS photo with the woman also taking a photograph is nice, too. Take care!

Hello Malgo.
Three sensational compositions of these fabulous Arabic baths, very rich in tiles and paintings, very colorful and cheerful, are wonderful.
Sharpness, lighting, color, and the magnificent composition; they are all perfectly realized factors, in this precious image.
Well done. I like it a lot.
You have a good day.
Very best regards.
Luis.

Hi Malgo,
This Turkish bathhouse is very well decorated. It even looks like the interior of a church. A very nice interior this one. I imagine that this one that you show us is a female bathhouse because in WS I saw another woman taking pictures.
Congratulations
Ricardo
