Photographer's Note
In the south of the Imam Square lies a masterpieces of Iranian architecture, the Imam Mosque. Two turquoise minarets flank its huge gateway (27m high). It was built over a period of 26 years and was eventually completed in 1638. The mosque is decorated with glazed tiles which take on a different hue according to light conditions. The photo shows Imam Mosque gateway as seen from its inner courtyard.

That is a beautifull Mosque.
Could the angle have been adjusted to get the whole mosque? the picture seems a bit incomplete. The beauty of the mosque compensates for that though. Very Nice.

I tried to rotate this image to a position that seems right. It is difficult because the structure is so large and the wide angle lens.
Thank you for sharing another great image from Iran, with a good note. The people in the picture really help with the perspective. I would like to see a macro shot of some of the tile.

Good picture and great notes :) I believe a water reflection (see lower right) photo could also be good.

You should rotate the picture a little bit and may wait another moment of the day to avoid the shadow on the left side.
But that's a great TE story which makes us discover the world. Wonderful building.

Only in Iran... This is a beautiful building, but I am not sure about the angle. The image appears to be a little too bright and the colours seem muted.
