Bakhtiari nomads,daily life,Iran.
(sardsīr or yaylāq) and winter quarters (garmsīr or qishlāq).[1] Numerical estimates of their total population widely vary. Bakhtiaris primarily inhabit in Chahar Mahaal and Bakhtiari and parts of the provinces of Lorestan, Khuzestan, and Isfahan. In Khuzestan, Bakhtiari tribes are primarily concentrated in the eastern part of the province.

What a classic moment in life of this nomadic tribe. They remind me that we need little to sustain life and must husband our resources. Thanks for the reminder. Judy

Greetings Yasmin,
A very interesting shot, and perhaps a perfect TE shot - showing us a place and a people who aer very seldom highlighted here. Very nicely framed, with the sheep crossing the frame diagonally. Not easy to do, but I think this shot cuole have been even better if you could have got ahead of the herders and had the flock coming towards you.
