Odeon, a photo from Paphos, West

Photographer's Note

The Odeon is an ancient Roman amphitheatre located in Paphos Archaeological Park. It was built of limestone in the 2nd century AD, there are 1200 seats for spectators. The amphitheatre is renovated and hosts events such as theatre performances and musicals during the summer.

There is a lighthouse in the area of the Archaeological Park, I posted the photo a few days ago.

Hello Ryszard,
A pleasant photo with two attractive features. The theatre looks well maintained, and so does the much more recent lighthouse. There is a fine balance between the cloudy but still nicely blue sky and the mainly green ground. The photo is well proportioned and there is a very nice light.

A great photo of this ancient amphitheatre among the green grass in the foreground. The white lighthouse is very nicely included behind it also and I like the bright colours and the fine sunlight. Well done.

Udalo Ci sie wyrwac na trochę w ostatniej chwili. Teraz jesteśmy w domach jak w więzieniach. Chodzisz do pracy czy pracujesz online? Lekcje z matematyki w telewizji to fajna rzecz. Można się wielu ciekawych rzeczy dowiedzieć, na przykład liczby parzyste to sa takie liczby które mają pare. Wiedziałeś o tym?

Wspaniałe te ruiny. Dobrze zachowany odeon, ładna latarnia w tle.

Ryszard, good idea to re use that ancient amphitheatre nowadays. The stairs were carved in the limestone. It is located on the coastline with the lighthouse very close. Fine colors, good sharpness, interesting photo note, regards.

Nice old and new merging together but how well they collaborate to make it a fine composition. Lovely patches of green giving nice colour boost & contrast while those tiny people helps to show a sense of proportion of the whole capture. Well done

Ja lubie to zdjecie moze dlatego ze latarnie morskie sa moimi ulubionymi obiektami ktore staram sie odwiedzac.
To zdjecie bardzo ladnie laczy starozytna architekture z nowoczesnym obiektem.
Kompozycja zdjecia jak rowniez jakosc nie budzi zadnych zastrzezen.
