Thank for your visit.

This is my second picture from Breskens, we see some boats in the marina and sail.

Marina was born at the end of the forties. After the 2nd World War had P.S.D. for their ferry service in Breskens a dock in the form of a large pontoon, which was connected by a bridge to the shore, about where now the bunker boats. Behind liked the local yachts one place. There were only a dozen among others Jaap Maas, yacht builder, Verschoor the Harbour Master, Notary vd Corner and a few fishing boats.
After a few years, a new berth obtained at the beginning of the jetty of the professional fishermen. Meanwhile, the number of yachts was increased to six or seven. In 1954, we had access to the entire western side of the jetty. With the help of donations from local restaurants, complemented by 1,500 guilders from the Brussels Royal Yachting Club we bought washed spruce, life rafts, etc. and with the help of all local sailors was our first port of a fact.
With great celebration and a significant number of visiting yachts, mostly Belgians, our port was opened, there was room for about 100 boats.

The latest development is the expansion in 1994, the direction of Port Scaldis so the capacity is increased to 580 moorings and approximately 80 charter boats. Almost since the beginning of the expansion, the port is fully occupied, so that we are working on a new expansion. Since some time
