Photographer's Note

This summer, for the third time consecutively, the city of Nantes hosted the "Voyage à Nantes" (Travel in Nantes), a cultural and touristic event that aims to give a good image of the city and to attract tourists. The event is based on a 12 kilometres path symbolized by a green line you can follow in the streets. This line guides you to the main points of interest of the city (some of them are opened only for this event) and the many works of art (mostly temporary ones) designed for the event.

This summer the Voyage à Nantes started on june 27th and ended today, on august 31st. One of the main points of interest was the coloured cloth of the Graslin theatre, designed by the artist Elsa Tomkowiak, who works in Nantes since 2007 and is famous for her work about colours.
