Photographer's Note

Anstruther is one of a number of traditional fishing villages in the so-called 'East Neuk' of Fife. The red pantile roofs are a common feature hereabouts, calling to mind the architecture of the low countries, which have always had strong trading connections with this easterly part of Scotland.
