Photographer's Note

Dunnotar castle ruins, in the west coast of Scotland, near small town of Stonehaven, a bit south of Aberdeen.
I had already visited this castle a few years ago, but I arrived there by car, and it wasn't half as interesting as to take the coastal trail from Stonehaven to it.
The castle was besieged by Cromwell and the scottish crown jewels were hidden there and only found many years later.

I had to do a lot of post-processing, I hope it doesn't seem too artificial. The original photo had very poor colors, noise, not really good focus. I inscreased saturation and adjusted levels, shadows, highlights, unsharp mask, and ran neat image over it a couple of times.
