Photographer's Note
This is from a series of photos I shot in Tate Modern Museum in London where it was excibited the artwork of Olafug Eliasson. The sun it is a part of his "The Weather Project" series. The sun was there until the end of March and, as far as I know, more of his project works follows concerning the air, the rain etc.
This photo again, as my previous one, is concentrating on people's reaction when they are facing the sun. Many of them are reacting as it is the "real" sun...laying down and fooling around as they would do in a real beach...I found that reaction really odd cause the atmosfere is indeed amazing and evocative but not like the one when you are in a real beach!...I guess this had to do with the rainy weather during winter in London...lol

This is amazing, as aalready was your previous post. Very surrealistic, and yet very representative experience. The sun, or Phebus or Ra or whatever, has really an incidence in our general mood. If each one of us on earth could have a "personal" sun like this one, I bet that we would all be much happier. Thanks.

This is very different from the previous one. I think this one is even more dramatic.
We get a better idea of the volume and have a better feeling of the "articial sun".

Hi, Eugenia, you did a good job here. I love this place and I also have a bunch of shot, even posted some to TE. Did they remove this artwork from the entrance hall already? what a pitty.

Wouldn't it be scary to need a fake sun to feel happy because the real one is not there? I like the framing of you shot. Eyxaristo Eygenia.

The perspective is so twisted. First I tought it was just a lightbulb and playmomen underneath, but then I see so many different poses on the people. I'm not a child anymore, but I think I know that they don't make them in postures like this ;)
A different and refreshing image!

Live is strange so people has strange reactions, I also think it´s something conected with the rainy weather... Many people has give their opinions about this photo. I just want to add that reminds me to old silent films from Germany, specially "Metropolis". I love silent movies, so I love your picture. Congratulations from Madrid.

Hi Eugenia.
Nice image, and curiously so many people lying down, adding to an eerie feel overall. I think a frame may enhance this one further.
Good job,
