Photographer's Note

This was taken while strolling back from the nature reserve at St.Abbs on a late February afternoon. It shows the village church in fine light and a rainbow produced in a rain shower maybe 2 or 3 miles offshore, diving into the sea. You can also see the chimneys of the village as the coast drops to the sea beyond the fields.
No tripod but the stabiliser works well. The white spot in the rainbow is a gannet.
The reserve at St Abbs is well worth a wander round.
