Photographer's Note
TE100
* 100 *
I hesitated long before I could decide with special picture my 100th upload should be.
There were so many candidates, but…
It should be special - not just a landscape
It should be personal – a self portrait?
It should be celebrating – so it should be colourful
It should be attractive – in any case for me
It should be peaceful – so no Dutch mill
It should be gleaming – maybe some reflections
It should be ……… ???????????????
It should be this one !!!!!!!!!!
I’m on it!
It’s full of colours
It’s full of tasteful Danish design – so no place for war
It‘s full of Glaswegian reflections
It’s an attractive picture. In any case to me and I hope for you too

Congratulations, Rob!
Your 100th shot lives up to the requirements you had set...;-)
Very nice choice, excellent colours. I might work with the composition further, singling out the squares to make it a perfect square, and making the lines vertical/horizontal. But that is just a toying as I would say. The idea is yours, and yours to cherish! Good eyes! Happy 100th!

Nice shot Great mix of colours. And you got a blue sky in Glasgow - that's a change! I looked but I cannot see you in the reflections?

Congratulations for your both your photo number 100 and for all the others you`ve showed us. I like this one, the street reflected on the glass, the photographer photographied, everything under the pattenr of all the colorfull squares... Well seen, this photo has an intelectual workship. Take care Rob.

Groeten,
John.

Hi Rob,
Happy 100, and "happy next 100" too !
A colourfull one for this happening. I like all those squared patterns, but I think you could have cropped just around them. Here the extra part is not that interesting to my opinion. I like better the WS, even if I would have cropped more than that.
Cheers, and keep going !
Youssef.

Rob,

Congratulation with your shot #100:
A fine choice you made here Rob - I like the multicoloured fields, the selfportrait - and the sight of "our" design - funny you could get this shot in Scotland - after all isen't it that cheap ;-)))

Hi Rob. Indeed a great choice for #100. This shot embodies everything we love about your style. I like the note too; especially the "it must be peaceful so no Dutch mill" part. But the multi-colors really add a lot of impact to the shot. Congrats on #100 and bring on the next 100!

Like you said, you simply have to see it, click it and show it ...... but some do and some don't even see your reflection in the glass, I think that's the difference and you noticed this colorfull scene and the reflection very well, congratulations for nr 100, a good one.

Hi Rob, No wonder you have slowed down in the last few months. You have been trying to get an impressive 100th shot. Congratulation for your job well done here. I do see you in the reflection. I enjoy the inside and reflection view combination viewing from the window. I like the view of artistic effect out of the daily life scene. The color contrast is wonderful. Well done.

A very colorful and cheerful composition. This square is really arty and beautiful.
Well composed even if I find the WS useful.

Keep going on!

Hi Rob,
Belated congratulations!! A well chosen shot. The reflected perspective created a special feeling of vibration and movement to the display making it very dynamic. The colours are stunning and its a wonderful piece of artwork. Simply impressive!! All the best.

Hi Rob,
well spotted composition.
I would have liked to see it cropped differently though, more tightly, to the margins of the big square so it shows only composition of little differently coloured squares, if you know what I mean...
Nevertheless, very inventive and indeed colourful!
... and grabbing the opportunity to congratulate you on your 100th photo on TE and wish you another ZERO to be added to this '100', soon!

Hello Rob,
Daniel.

I liked the graphic mood of this compo. the objects made me remember giorgio morandi (I guess this is the name of the italian painter). it would be perfect without the reflections. anyway I know how difficult this is.
