Photographer's Note

well the natural progression from my last shot of these two sheep, it can be seen here when they are contempleting suicide. Sheep Suicide!

i think this was actually taken before the last one but i believe it follows it perfectly. the two sheep were going to jump off the edge of the "cliff" and the older and wiser one has decided not to bother - he likes the life of a sheep! but the young one is still unsure....

for those of you who dont know, the sheep are allowed to roam free on the north yorkshire moors and the farmers can tell which ones are his by usually marking the sheep with sprey paint - ie red may be on farm and blue another, and this is also how you get different coloured wool i am reliably informed.

i like this shot, i like the patchwork fields in the background, and the colours and the sheeps positions, im not entirely sure that all of the above story is true, but its what this picture made me think of... i think im going slightly mad. :S
