Photographer's Note

Wells Next the Sea is a small town on the north Norfolk coast. Very popular holday resort but still a working harbour of fishing boats. My ancestors came from Wells and my great, great, great grandfather was a coastguard. Present day there is a coastal watch station. The people manning it told us that today most problems are caused by Sunday sailors and holiday makers.
