At Bath, England

A post from Bev about Buxton, made me remember my visit to Bath, smart city with fine buildings, many green parks, well-kept Roman Baths

Why I visit this city? Because reading a biography of Winston Churchill´s mother, I learned how much she enjoyed this place, I went there two times for a day´s visit, must be good to stay with more time, as happens with places we enjoy.. but time is always so few..

Around Britain's only hot springs, the Romans built the
finest religious spa in northern Europe. This great
temple and bathing complex still flows with natural hot
water. The extensive remains and a Roman museum of
international significance lie beneath the Pump Room
and Abbey Church Yard in the centre of Bath.

The Roman Baths are open from 09.00 - 21.00
