Hello Brian,
A lovely composition that perfectly sums up the English countryside in winter. The college makes a beautiful and effective focal point and is nicely counterbalanced by the horse. Superb lights and colours; excellent sharpness throughout. I like it very much indeed.

This are the most beautiful places were I very gladly would make a bike trip with all the the nice panorama view about the area.
An excellent depth and perspective picture.

This landscape has a fairytale appearance ! The view over the meadows, with the Lancing college firmly used as the centerpiece, is really superb. You have captured the subtle hues and tones of the sky very well and managed the light in such an artistic way to exalt the colours and the atmosphere. As usual from you, the image is of the highest quality. A captivating photo that looks like a painting !

even without any hint of snow this epitomes Winter in England,it`s a stunning shot with the rugged up pony setting the scene very nicely.

Hi Brian,
Maybe it's because I am not familiar with this style of college, but that is a fantastic building over there. The chapel looks epic and the detail of the entire complex is superb. This looks like a painting by Constable. The horse adds a nice touch of life to the view. Once again, the light is fantastic. Really nicely done, as always.

Hi Brian,

This is a beautifully presented photograph with just so many lovely elements to linger over, and it has a lovely peaceful quality too.

The light on the distant chapel is magnificent and brings out all the details of its fine architecture magnificently; the Adur and its surrounding trees and grassland fill the mid-ground perfectly and the contented horse relaxing in the warm winter sun makes the perfect foreground feature.

A beautiful image with lovely light and colours, a very pleasing composition, perfect exposure and exquisite details and clarity.

Hello Brian!

The resting horse and sheep in the fg at left add considerable charm to this shot of the picturesque English countryside as a marvellous backdrop. Good sharpness and a pleasant overall diffused light with just a few patches of sunlight breaking through the thick clouds. The chapel of Lancing College makes a fine focal point in the bg. Tfs!
