Photographer's Note

A different type of photo taken at Avebury. Most photos are of the stones in the stone circles. However, the village is quite pretty and there are a lot of photo opportunities to be had other than of the stones in the circles.
We had just parked the car and had walked in the rain along a track from the carpark to this village street when these bikers came past us. The green high visibility vests that they are wearing seem to be the most common colour vest worn by bikers in England. One of the bikers had Kawasaki insignias on his clothing. All of the bikes were green which might be an indication that they were all riding Kawasakis.
From Wikipedia:
Avebury is a Neolithic henge monument containing three stone circles, around the village of Avebury in Wiltshire, in southwest England. Unique amongst megalithic monuments, Avebury contains the largest stone circle in Europe, and is one of the best known prehistoric sites in Britain. It is both a tourist attraction and a place of religious importance to contemporary Pagans.
