Photographer's Note

I was taking photos from within the pod on the London Eye, but without much in the way of enthusiasm. The problem was tripods are not allowed on the Eye for reasons that know one person their could or would give me. This left me feeling rather miffed, as it costs a fair amount of money, we had bought the books that they sell and waited our turn. I spend most of the 30 minutes getting over my anger before I finally took my camera out.

I liked this shot as it gave a sense of height without being a typical shot of the eye, using both the barge and the people for scale.

If anyone is thinking of taking a trip, make sure you have a mini tripod in your pocket or bag and beat the system.
