Photographer's Note
I had difficultios on deciding what kind of picture I would upload next. Train interior shots are not that common so here's one. I don't think travel on third class was this comfortable on the early days of Ffestiniog Railway. But after it reopened as a heritage railway in 1955, it is important to offer comfy seats for everybody. There is also the first class option for an additional charge.

Hello Kari, an interesting shot from the interior of the carriage; some of the people enjoying the view, but the lady in the foreground seemingly oblivious to the Welsh countryside!
There is a nice blur through the windows as the train speeds along.
Good shot.
Regards Jean.

Hello Kari,
The train carriage looks quite small, but still very comfortable. The red seats seem much better than any seat on any Dutch train, first or second class. It's nice to see all the people as well and the slight blur of the surroundings on both sides shows the train was at full speed.

Hello Kari,
It's very interesting to get a view of the train's interior and also to catch a glimpse of the landscape where it drives through.
If this is the third class, I wonder how second and first class look like.
The red upholstery of the seats creates a pleasant and charming feel.
Best regards, Paul

Hello Kari,
Formerly everyone was satisfied in the train, this is a very nice interior.
Nobody wrote on the seats, today not normal on the modern trains.
An excellent perspective and depth picture.
Very well done, TFS.
Best regards,
John.

Hello Kari,
I love people watching and it's so much more fun when the people can't respond to one's curiosity!
I'm sure the view from the windows is fascinating and most people seem to be enjoying the scenery all except the focal lady! Maybe she has just put the glasses on, to ensure that she can focus on the scenery!
You have captured some good details of the train as well as its occupants.
My warm regards,
Bev :-)

Hello Kari,
This doesn't look anywhere close to the 3rd class trains I travelled with in India in the 1970's. There has probably never been any real 3rd class trains like this anywhere, but maybe the people using this heritage railway will have something to talk about after the experience of the lowest class. It looks quite comfortable, and the large windows provide good views of the countryside, in case anyone is interested. Most passengers don't seem to pay much attention to the outside. It's a very good photo with well used light, good sharpness and fine depth. The two ladies on the right side dressed to match the colour of their seats.
Kind regards,
Gert

Hi Kari
the train seems really narrow and everybody has a warm dress, mean there is no heating in it. The journey does not last long. Nice to see the misty? background through the windows
Cheers
