Photographer's Note

Good Morning Friends,

This is the pier at Llandudno on an early February morning.

I thought the sun was creating interesting, lacy patterns as it shone through the wrought iron fencing, which lead to the pier. Incidentally, the pier was opened in 1884, is 700 metres long and is the longest pier in Wales, the fifth longest in the U.K.

At such an early part of the season, there were not many people experiencing the bright sunshine, on this cold morning. No doubt, later in the season, this space will be thronging with holiday makers, eager to make the long walk out above the sea.

At the end of the pier, we saw anglers, fishing from a specially designated spot, accompanied by sea birds, ever ready to share the catches.

Thank you for your interest.
Have a good day, Bev :-)
