Photographer's Note

The medieval fortification of Conwy Castle and the Conwy Suspension Bridge.

The castle was built by Edward I, during his conquest of Wales, between 1283 and 1289.

The Conwy Suspension Bridge is a Grade 1 listed structure and was one of the first road suspension bridges in the world.Opened in 1826.

I wonder if the bridge was being built today, whether they would be allowed to use the castle walls as an anchor for the bridge construction?

Thanks for looking.
