Photographer's Note

Cardiff, The Philharmonic club on St Mary street, incredbly crowded on weekend night. There are two floors - the ground floor where they play rock and a dark basement with dance music.

I saw this guy going with a drink, I set the focus at about 0.7m distance and I followed his hand for a while shooting without looking through the viewfinder.

Interesting experiment there, I know exactly what that feels like, it's a little hit-and-miss, especially with the focus on the hand (though you did pretty well under the circumstance). It's a filmic moment for sure, there is a slow motion feel about it.

As experement it is really fine & you got wonderful results. Well done.

But I would like to say about "SATURATION". Saturation of same story lining. Bokeh & focus.
Here,Other than following the hand holding glass..Nothing much to see here..Nor to interprete.
I feel you can come up with more strong shots man!!!

I would have to agree with Shailendra here. This for me does not have any story and for me says nothing more than a person holding a glass. I can see the idea but I dont think it works that well.
Your other shots outside the bars are much much stronger.

Hello maciej. Arm ones and hands diagonally by the picture run. In the center a woman, who gets a straight beverage. An interesting motive and a picture for interpreting. Very beautifully. Many greetings, Wolfgang.
