Photographer's Note

I took this shot while waiting for the sun to set to my left. The weather conditions suggested it would be somthing special. I was looking around for good places to setup as the light was still too bright. However when I got back and had a look through the evening's shot, I thought this might make a decent B&W.

The water was quite calm, but it was swirling around the rocks so I wanted to try and capture that instead of doing a long exposure 'misty' sea.

Shot required a polarizer to remove glare from the scene and an ND grad.

Converted in Photoshop using Channel Mixer and then some manual dodging and burning to introduce contrast.

Thanks for looking
Stay well...
