Photographer's Note
Another sunset shot from earlier this year.
Burra, (Old Norse : Borgarey =Broch Island ), is a small island linked to the Shetland Mainland via Trondra, (Old Norse :Thronderey = Thrond's Island ), by a series of bridges, and is usually seen as two islands (though they are joined) East Burra has 66 residents meanwhile West Burra has 753 islanders.
The shot required a 2-stop neutral grad. Crop to a slightly panoramic format in PP.
Thanks for looking
Craig

Hi Craig,
You are less active than before and that shows by the numbers. But your work is still highly interesting and worth to take a look at. Here the crop and framing is wonderful, but also the pusple light glows over the whole image...wonderful.
Thanks again for the info about the Lee filters. I use them now and am more than satisfied about them, an expensive but very good investment.
Regards,
Henk

Hi Craig, I don't have a real "wide angle" but it's when I see shots like this that I think I need one, I suppose having one is not enough I also have the know how, practice makes perfect. The light & detail in FG rocks is fab. the colour also works well here as does the silky effect on the water, a very beautiful image.
Thanks
Santo
