Via via I: From our last holidays in the UK:

We took a ferry from IJmuiden, Holland, to Newcastle upon Tyne. Then after about 60 km we came on the Scottisch Border.
Here is a famous stop for tourists, Carter Bar.
Carter Bar is the name of the pass on the A68 at the frontier between England & Scotland.

Hier is Carter Bar, een bergpas op de A68 aan de grens tussen Engeland en Schotland. Op ongeveer 60 kilometer van Newcastle upon Tyne waar de ferry van IJmuiden aankwam. Een toeristische plek gevuld met toerist en - uiteraard! - een doedelzak speler! :o)

Hello Viviane
Those rolling hills create such a pleasant landscape under a wonderful sky. I love the wide open landscape and the absence of any human presence (with the exception of the fence in the foreground) in this composition.

Not a very sharp shot.Need to steady your hands while pressing the shutter.The FG is kind of okay.All the best.

Bonjour Viviane ,
Et oui , parfois le ciel est trop bleu ... sans un nuage ! Ici , ce n'est pas le cas , mais ce ciel est joli , tout comme le paysage . Peut être manque-t-il , comme dans d'autres de tes clichés , un élément fort (arbre , batisse ...) pour enrichir la composition .
Une touche de netteté après compression peut être bienvenue aussi . Je tente un WS .
