Photographer's Note

The weather in Scotland has been pretty grim recently so I thought I would have a look through some older pictures while we wait patiently for springtime and summer to arrive.

This picture falls into the category of "nothing special" but it was taken in early summer at a lovely spot at St. Mary's Loch in the Scottish Borders where a local angling club have their hut and a little group of small boats.

Interestingly, two of the boats appear to have names. "Salmo Trutta" is the official name for the brown trout and "Esox Lucius" is the pike.

ISO 640, 1/100 sec at f/14, focal length 28mm.
