Hello Donald,
A lovely landscape with a touch of winter!
Good point of view and well framed...
Details are impressive, and the colours come through with great clarity!

Ah here is what I needed .. thanks ..
the reflection is pretty obviously stunning ... I like how it has both the near and the far (the plants and the clouds) .. the palette of greens and blue .. gives this a kind of muted melancholy ... If it was brighter it would be all about coming spring .. soft cluttered winter tranquility ... so much for my critiques getting shorter ..
take care,
John

Oh, Donald. I love the way the banks curve and wind on this river. The whole thing is so wide open to the eye. The way the water reflects the blues and the clouds gives it as chilly a feel as the snow. It's beautiful. This is incredible. Hope all is well!! Take good care,
Shelly

Hi Donald,
Nice to have you back and these wonderful views of Scotland. Waht can I say about it? It's greatly composed, with all those meanders of the lake(?) and the hills on the bg. Wonderful light and colours.
A great Winter postcard of a place with a name that sounds much like the Portuguese word for Winter (inverno).
Regards, José.

This is great stuff, Donald, a super winter scene in Scotland. The glassy water is wonderful and there is a feeling of peace - a stillness - emanating from the view. Maybe there's a touch of over-exposure in part of the sky, but a minor point in a lovely photo. Top job!

Hi Donald,
this shot epitomises what the Highlands are all about to me. Mountain views, crisp clear days, cold lochs, threatening skies and there's even a castle to boot! Wonderful shot Donald, crisp & clear, great light & colours and well composed. Well done and good to have you back.
Regards
Stephen

Hi Donald,
First welcome to TE !
That's a nice hilly landscape, and the presence of water highlighted by the clouds reflection plus the remaining snow contribute to nake it luminous. There's no element that could be use to measure a concrete vertical but I have an instinctive feeling it tilts a bit to the left.
Have a nice day,
Jean-yves
P.S. You might want to edit your hardware profile to enter your fuji camera so it will be listed together with your pics

Hi Donald. Great photo, though it appears a little tilted to the left, for some reason all mine are a little tilted to the right and I haven’t worked out why. Well composed and great POV. Thanks for sharing.
Cheers, Paul.
