Photographer's Note

After the Bealach Beag bikers (see previous post) went down south, we were “alone in the world” for quite a time during that lovely day, we followed the A896 up north via Torridon and then back on the mountains to Kinlochewe.
Absolutely spectacular!

Kinlochewe lies some two miles south east of the head of Loch Maree, a very strong contender for the title of Scotland's most scenic loch.

About the mountains on the photo:
The south west side of the loch is home to the Beinn Eighe National Nature Reserve, and the land to the west of Kinlochewe climbs steadily to Beinn Eighe.
