DUNVEGAN CASTLE GARDENS, a photo from Highland, Scotland

At side of the castle, near the sea, there are beautiful gardens. It was the end of the summer, but there were many flowers, I can imagine how it would be in the spring. Here we have an Chilenian araucaria, it is a relative of famous araucárias from my state of Paraná.

Ao lado do castelo e bem próximo do mar está esse jardim. O visitei no final do verão e havia lindas flores, imagine como seria na primavera. Aqui vemos uma araucária chilena, que é parente das nossas araucárias do PR.

A really beautiful tree, which stand out well from the grey and cloudy background. The many shades of green bring some colour to the day, just like the person's red coat.

Hello Jorge,
The tree is magnificent and a rare view in a Scottish garden. Although it was a wet day, and probably not very warm, it is a pleasant photo thanks to the mild colours and fine contrasts of green and grey. And once again a lady in red shows that she can brighten any composition.

The lady on the bench has cold, but a nice view on the lovely garden.

hello Jorge, of course, the big araucaria was the first thing I have noticed here. In New Zealand, I have seen magnificent araucarias, very big and old. Nice picture of the area near the castle. It seems it was the cold and unpleasant weather. I also was in Dunvegan castle, I had a very short stop there. See http://beta.trekearth.com/gallery/photo1312160.htm.
