Photographer's Note

The same bridge and the same green-lit armadillo but photographed from the opposite side of the bridge. The previous photo was facing the sunset and had a still relatively brightly lit sky:

Here we are facing rather the east and therefore an earlier darker more blue hour-ish sky. I could not decide which post I like more hence I decided to post both of them. To be honest I don’t have many new blue hour photo opportunities, so I just wanted to cherish that lovely evening by showing you more scenes from it. I suppose when the days get shorter, I will do blue hour sessions more often again.

I just realized that in English language when you are a child you must memorize that the sun rises in the east and sets in the west. In Polish the word “west” is identical to “(sun)set”. The Polish word for the “east” means literally the “(sun)rise”.
To complicate things the word for the “north” is identical with “midnight” while the “south“ uses the same word as “midday/noon”.

A fantastic and very sharp blue hour photo of the silver bridge and the green armadillo underneath the evening sky. The reflections are amazing, especially the silver ones, which are nicely broken by the darker parts of the structure in the middle.

Hello Mariusz, the white light reflected on the water has created a silvery sheen which balances the green light from the armadillo.

Roznica w kolorze nieba jest faktycznie duza , choc pewnie chwile trwalo tez przemieszczenie sie z jednej strony mostu na druga. Podswietlony na zielono budynek przyciaga wzrok, a kolory odbite w wodzie sa stonowane w odroznieniu od wielobarwnych odbic na zdjeciu z zurawiem.
Dobra jakosc jak zwykle!

With the green lighting during the blue hour, the Armadillo is wonderfully emphasized.
The bridge leading to it is also beautifully presented here.
Interesting explanations of some concepts in Polish. Is this different from other Slavic languages?

I'm back to TE after a long time! Wonderful view of the bridge and the building at the blue hour, which gives beautiful colors to the image! The light has been very well managed, and the reflections are a very nice details of the photo! Excellent job!
