Photographer's Note

THis is a view of Glasgow Cathedral, it survived destruction during the religious reformation. It is told S. Mungo put the corpse of a saint man in a cart took by two savage ox and asked them to choose a place choose by God. The cart stopped here and the saint gave a name to the area (lovely green place).
You can see the cemetery I showed few days ago in the hill ahead....................

Essa é uma vista da catedral de Glasgow, uma das poucas que escaparam da destruição durante a reforma religiosa. Diz a lenda que São Mungo colocou o cadáver de um homem santo sobre a carroça, puxada por dois bois selvagens e pediu que o levassem ao local escolhido por Deus. Os animais pararam aqui e então o santo batizou o lugar de "adorável lugar verde". O cemitério que mostrei antes é visível no alto daquela colina.
