Photographer's Note

I was walking our beagle around Corstorphine Hill, Edinburgh early one morning in thick haar (sea mist). Suddenly, the sun began to break through. Within seconds the light was too bright for the camera.

Fortunately I had my little camera and caught this hand-held shot. I don't know whether this has caught the mood but at the time I liked the different layers of grey from branches at various distances from the camera.

I've cropped the shot but I'm not sure whether it has had the desired effect. No doubt someone will tell?
