Photographer's Note
shot a year or 2 back on my way from Skye to home. I had one last frame i the roll I had loaded into the blad.
The exposure is approx 4 mins long
6 stop used, it was pretty late in the afternoon,
I know I haven't posted for a while. I will try t post more this year as I have a massive back catalogue or images from my last three years back on film again

Hello and welcome back.
I think your use of black & white film for this image was a good one. And the way everything leads your eye to the isle strengthens the photo.

Hello John,
Welcome back. :-) Someone was asking me the other day if anyone still uses actual film; now we have the answer. ;-) It's a lovely shot with lots of atmosphere. I like the hues of faded gray in the background. I don't know if you've done any post-processing on this photo, but personally I might go with a bit more contrast. Happy New Year to you! :-)

Hello Weetrees
Like your B/W work. A special ability by the few. You seem to have the knack for sure. All of the blacks in the image are right smack in the middle. Makes for a simple focal point that is a great subject. Very nice image to share with us.
