Photographer's Note

Despite the mixed weather this weekend, we went on a wee camping trip around Loch Lomond. Yesterday the Sun was trying its hardest to shine and, making the best of the weather, we went on a wee trip to Luss, a small village which has previously been made famous by the long-running but now axed TV show "Take The High Road".

Although the scenery here is wonderful, I don't think it makes for particularly exciting photography. I was snapping away at the usual tourist landmarks without finding anything too inspiring. All of a sudden, this young chap shot in to view from nowhere and made for the most interesting shot of the day! He was soon followed by his friends, but this shot remains my favourite from the short, impromptu photoshoot.

Very little was done in post-processing. Levels were edited slightly and the image cropped to place the subject in a slightly more interesting location in the photo.
