Photographer's Note
Dunrobin Castle is the most northerly of Scotland's great houses. It is the largest house in the Northern Highlands with 189 rooms, and is one of Britain's oldest continuously inhabited houses, dating in part from the early 1300s.
Seat of the Earls and Dukes of Sutherland, this beautiful castle with a French influence sits looking out across the North Sea.
Unfortunately for us, the weather was very cloudy that day.

Quelques pas de plus .au niveau de l'arbre sur la gauche et l'angle de vue serait parfait ..

Given overcast weather conditions, a well presented photograph. Well done Francis.

This is certainly a very beautiful building and you've chosen a good POV to capture it. It's a pitty that you've encountered several technical problems because there seems to be some chromatic aberration and a bit blur in the photo.
Considering this and the overcast sky this photo is a good candidate to a BW conversion. This would eliminate all the colors problems and togheter witht a sharpening it could enhance the image.
Made a WS. Hope you'll like it!

Impressive building and a beautiful garden you captured here.
I have difficulties to imagine how it would be to live in such a castle.
Good composition.

Ok, I thought that your first picture of Dunrobin castle was kind of forgotten and deserved more points than the most recent one.
So here are my two points ! I also did a workshop where I tryed some stuff for the first time :) I hope you like it !
