Photographer's Note

Still Day 11, but now you will understand why it was important to mention 1) the complete lack of wind and 2) the barracudas (just for fun, because they stiad away, but one was silly enough to mention that there have been case of attacks, just before we started jumping in...).
Because the ship was not moving, this is the first time we were allowed to swim in the Atlantic Ocean, for about 1 hour, between 2 and 3 pm, just after the big weekly cleanup of the ship.
And everybody went swimming, even the dog Nichke(this is for tomorrow), even the worst swimmers including me, except Janet because someone had to stay on board anyway.
I believe the depth must have about 3,000 meters at that time.
But what surprised me at the time was the temperature of the water - very warm - and the very salty taste, two things I did not expected (in France the Atlantic is much colder than the Mediterranean Sea, and not so salty). This explains why I did not swim more than a few minutes, and got back to taking pictures. However, I did it!
Today, three views of a collective jump extracted from a sequence of five taken in continuous focus mode, and a few more latter.
