Photographer's Note
Still Day 11, but now you will understand why it was important to mention 1) the complete lack of wind and 2) the barracudas (just for fun, because they stiad away, but one was silly enough to mention that there have been case of attacks, just before we started jumping in...).
Because the ship was not moving, this is the first time we were allowed to swim in the Atlantic Ocean, for about 1 hour, between 2 and 3 pm, just after the big weekly cleanup of the ship.
And everybody went swimming, even the dog Nichke(this is for tomorrow), even the worst swimmers including me, except Janet because someone had to stay on board anyway.
I believe the depth must have about 3,000 meters at that time.
But what surprised me at the time was the temperature of the water - very warm - and the very salty taste, two things I did not expected (in France the Atlantic is much colder than the Mediterranean Sea, and not so salty). This explains why I did not swim more than a few minutes, and got back to taking pictures. However, I did it!
Today, three views of a collective jump extracted from a sequence of five taken in continuous focus mode, and a few more latter.

Hi Emmanuel!
A great action shot! Personaly, I would crop the hand on the left giving the same an impression of people coming out from nowhere.. very good sharpness and detail despite the fast movements of the objects

Hello Emmanuel,
This is an excellent action shot, exuding the glory of youth. It is impressive how their timing is so precise. I count 8-9 bodies (how many do you see?) I am wondering how a different cropping would work in this image. I'll try a ws.
Warm regards,
Bulent

Hi Emmanuel,
Simultaneous but otherwise freestyle jumps makes this look quite fun. Timing is perfect at the high point of jump. Beautiful blue colours of sea and sky. Yes, it could be cropped from right, but maybe not as much as in the WS.

Bonjour Emmanuel,
beutiful series here with a fine aspect of motion..
i personally would have prefered the more cropped version at WS 3 (to have that piece of arm out of the picture).. great action and therefore a superb shot, great sharpness and beautiful colors..
keep on posting..

Olá Emmanuel,
bem interessante mesmo essa foto das pessoas andando assim em alto mar, será que não é perigoso por causa dos tubarões? Belo trabalho.
Parabéns e Abraço

Original shot Emmanuel. In spite of the speed of the bodies falling down, the precision is incredible.
Thanks for sharing.

Salut Emmanuel,
Emilius
