Photographer's Note

I know that there are quite a few shots of Dunluce Castle on TE; these are my versions.

Dunluce is a ruined and medieval castle in Northern Ireland. Just along the road from The Giant's Causeway.

The castle is located on the edge of a basalt out-cropping in County Antrim.
It was the head-quarters of the MacDonnell clan.
There is archaeological evidence of a village that surrounded the castle which was destroyed by fire in 1641.

Constantly fought over, the castle eventually succumbed to the power of nature, when part of it fell into the sea one stormy night in 1639. It was abandoned shortly afterwards.

One more shot in the w/shop.
Thanks for looking.
