Photographer's Note
Rough weather at the moment so I thought I might get a few good shots round the coast. Dispite having my boots filled with water, nearly being blown away and fighting a losing battle trying to keep the constant spray off my lens, I managed one or two decent shots!
This was taken at Ballintoy inbetween showers, hence the dark clouds in the background. Shutter speed was about 1/2500sec. The sun was shining on the foreground which helps separate it from the backgound. Thanks for looking.

Hi Douglas,
Good capture of nature at it's best. I like the contrast between the dark blue sky and the white spray of the surf, they off set each other well.
Regards,
Chrystyna

Always like round Ballintoy, great part of the world and only a trip and a fall to Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge.
Good dramatic catch of the breaking wave, hope you have good waterproofs and don’t get too close to those breakers
