Photographer's Note

Good Morning Everyone,

I will say a goodbye to Forge Mill Needle Museum with this last look at the two buildings which create the museum. Please click on Farewell Forge Mill to see the photograph much larger and clearer.

The gap between the two buildings is where the water wheel is situated.
At the top of the hill, beyond the buildings, is a mill pond from which water would have been released to drive the wheel. I will add a w/s to show this here .

I like this viewpoint, with the slope of the lower building guiding to the taller, dominant building but, as you can see from the lighting, it would have been much more difficult to control the light, facing in the opposite direction!

Thank you for your continued interest.
Enjoy your day, Bev :-)
