I found out that my visit to Salisbury Cathedral coincided with the running of major exhibition spans the last two decades of Brazil born sculptor Ana Maria Pacheco's work.
Curated by Jacquiline Cresswell, Salisbury Cathedral Arts Advisor and Pratt Contemporary, the exhibition explores darkness and light of humanity.
This masterpiece feature "Study of Head (John the Baptist III)" which is an expression of the abuse of power and suffering.
