Photographer's Note
Dent Head Viaduct on the Settle-Carlisle railway line built for the Midland Railway.
The viaduct has 10 arches, is 100 ft high and is 600 feet long. It is built from 'Dent Marble' a form of fossilised black limestone.
A slide scan from october 1988 taken with an Olympus OM4 with Zuiko 35mm f2.8 lens on Kodak Ektachrome.
