Fantastic!!!...I bet looks great in colors too,but in B&W is amazing.The idea to make it in B&W works for me very well,the gradient dark sky....looks like "the light from the end of the tunnel"...Amazing shot.Excellent.

Sunshine is such a rarity in the UK that as soon as there's a little, photos come out superbly.

Probably B&W even improves this shot, as it gives more enphasis to the light, which turns this tree into a sort of a jewel, made of silver and crystal.

Martin,

This is a stunning capture. The streaks in the sky lead to the tree and the light is magically focussed on the tree as well. It makes the tree twinkle. Nice composition and b&w conversion.

WOW!! Martin this is a fabulous capture. The clouds are just right as it adds to the idea that thgis tree is indeed magical. The light has been well handled. Your name was passed on to me by another TE member via a critique yesterday and I had a look at your website. I'm hoping to learn how to improve my B&W conversions. In my opinion your photos deserve many more points than you have been receiving.
