Kenilworth castle,
The castle is probably most famous as the residence of
Robert Dudley who courted Queen Elizabeth 1 here.
The ruins are extensive with a painstaking recreation of the Tudor gardens which are based on accurate archaeological and archival evidence of the original gardens which were planted by Dudley for the visit of his Queen.
