It is ironical that from the North East England, this region which seems so little known to British people, came a world explorer James Cook, one who was discovering unknown lands. This particular view was a recent discovery for me as well since it is only visible with so much light and color in the summer afternoon at a low tide. If you look at this photo here you may be able to see this place in a wider context.
