A Quiet Morning on the Thames

Something different for now and I admit that I also post this photo a little bit in order to get my UK map a little yellower: I was almost standing on the Greater London-Surrey border, but just on the Surrey side. But of course it was also just such a wonderful and quiet morning. I had left my hotel half an hour before breakfast to make a quick stroll along the River Thames.

Seen here is Thames Ditton Marina, the actual Thames flows in the background and can’t be seen from here. Some of the boats moored here were those typical, narrow barges used in the canals around London.
