Photographer's Note

Good Morning Everyone,

I'm not sure how interesting TE members will find my contributions, today, but I found them fascinating and certainly learning about the world through photography!

The photographs were taken at Sutton Hoo where an amazing, Anglo Saxon boat burial, containing a warrior king, had been discovered and excavated.

My main post shows a very talented man who was working inside the museum/information building at Sutton Hoo. He was dressed in period Anglo Saxon attire, could demonstrate how leather goods were made 1400 years ago and was able to read olde English and translate it into the modern form. It was surprising just how many words or phrases we could decipher with help from him

Behind, you will see a board with lots of information about East Anglian history, around the area of Sutton Hoo.

The whole building was full of interesting displays and finds. There was another man who was describing the history of the area and later took people out on a tour of the historic burial mounds

I will add a couple of workshops that you might find interesting.

I wish you a happy day, one as good as I found at Sutton Hoo, Bev :-)

I will add a couple of other
