Photographer's Note

Good Morning Everyone,

Yesterday, I posted photographs of Willy Lott's cottage, near Flatford Mill, the setting for John Constable's painting 'The Haywain'.

Today, I will show modern painters being inspired from the same location. A group of painters were on a painting course and were seated opposite the cottage.

This particular guy was, in my opinion, very talented. He had not only produced a fine image of the cottage but he had also, managed to get the mood right.

In the photograph he was explaining to my husband how the changing light had caused some problems during the day!

As a workshop, I will add a photograph of the scene that he was painting.

Have a great w/e. Here, the weather is grey and damp! Autumn is here with a bang! What a difference from last month! Bev :-)
