Photographer's Note

Good Morning Everyone,

People who live in the U.K. will probably be more familiar with the paintings of John Constable, than any other English painter. His most famous work was 'The Haywain'.

Whilst we were in Suffolk, we visited Flatford Mill, which is where Constable lived and where many of his paintings originated.

Please click on Constable Country to see the photograph much larger and clearer.

My photograph shows Willy Lott's cottage, the cottage that is featured in his 'The Haywain'. I took lots of photographs and struggled to decide which to post. Maybe I will show some others later.

I was sad that the sun wasn't out when we were there but that's the lot of photographers, unless you can wait all day, you have to use the light that is available.

A copy of the painting "The Haywain' was on show in the information building so I will post that as a workshop for your information.

Thanks for your interest, Bev :-)
