Wysteria- Flowers of Spring Love..

The is Castle Walk in the historic market town of Banbury, Oxfordshire..

They are late this year dues to the long cold winter and now extended cold Spring.. .. The storm in the back ground bringing out a strange light..

I was perched ontop of the old wrought Iron spiral staircase.. watching the wonderful reaction of those walking past..

it was however the strong scent of the Wysteria that is not captured here.. .. !!!!!

Hello Rich,a very well composed shot this,well worth the effort involved I`d say.The saturated colours are most attractive and the whole image is pin sharp.

Hi Rich, I love wisterias (although I do not remember their smell) and here you present it beautifully. You found excellent POV so it is the whole wall of wonderful blue flowers. Very attractive shot.

I CAN smell it - gorgeous !

Hope it lasts for a day or two longer..

Fine composition, showing that even the most fundamental rules are in fact, only guidelines... A picture, split in half ?! At least the obligatory splash of red conforms to the norm.

Ah ha... This is one of my favourite flowers.., Rich. If you go to Beijing at right time you would see some of them there...:-)I didn't remember the scent much,it was the colour and whatever it was... I love.
